Clowney represents good speed and downfield ability at the WR position. Yes, Bloom was unimpressed at the Senior Bowl, but Clowney is a guy who can come in and stretch the field.
Are they preparing for the eventuality of Driver aging and working through his last deal? He’s signed through 2009, but any degradation in his performance in the next 1-2 years could result in a complete turnover at WR for the Pack. Clowney, Greg Jennings, and James Jones represents 3 young talents that could develop into a new WR corps for Aaron Rodgers after the Favre Era is complete.

In the interview room, the NFL hosted Va Tech coach Frank Beamer and former Hokies Michael Vick, Bruce Smith, and DeAngelo Hall.
Beamer spoke bluntly about the idea that “one sick kid” doesn’t represent his school and that the university will bounce back from the tragedy. Each of the players spoke to their shock and horror upon hearing of the event, and DeAngelo Hall candidly confessed that it brought back tough memories of his brother being killed.
Overall, each of the four men seemed resolved to make a real effort to prevent this incident from becoming the face of their school.
