Josh Johnson, QB, San Diego - a future star for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

We are not timid about our predictions for Johnson’s future. Tampa’s offense is the perfect fit, and he’ll be an outstanding heir to Jeff Garcia.

Our first profiled player is our second player selected!

Tampa Bay now employs Dexter Jackson:

Talib Over Jenkins? Really?

Jenkins played his college ball in Tampa. He didn’t have an issue with the mean green. Or getting beaten repeatedly by the better WRs in his conference. Whether it’s Washington, Dallas, Pittsburgh, or another team in the twenties, someone is going to get a steal. Meanwhile, we’re hearing on the floor that some teams took Talib completely off their board - Gruden sure does like to give questionable characters the benefit of the doubt.

Catching my breath in between these trades, some interesting possibilities are emerging - Mendenhall a Cowboy? Merling a Steeler? or Mendenhall a Steeler? Jenkins, Mendenhall and Merling are the clear top three left on my board.

Has anyone figured out why Baltimore traded up? or why Carolina let Philly fleece them for an OT who only played two years of big time college football? The deeper we get into the first, the sillier it gets. I love it.
