Here we go. Two deals at the top of the first. The psychological effect of changing the number 1 to the number 2 makes players that teams were happy to pass on turn into players that they MUST have. Alan Branch and Paul Posluszny absolutely qualify as that kind of player. Buffalo got their MLB. Arizona got their immovable object in the middle of the 3-4. Still, Oakland and Detroit will get a player very similar to the player they would have gotten if they had stayed at their natural picks.
Coming soon: the 2nd round QB run.
You think Pos is more likely the MLB than the LOLB??
Pos has the sideline to sideline range and hardnosed attitude to play in the middle. He played MLB for the last 4 games of the 2006 season and should fit in just fine. I believe he fits as an MLB better than Angelo Crowell.
