1 Dan Connor - Penn State 6-3/233

Dan has impressed everyone at the Senior Bowl with his coverage ability and that was really the only question mark about one of the best linebackers in the draft. Great read and react skills makes him impossible to block cleanly.

2 Curtis Lofton - Oklahoma 6-0/235

Curtis was one of the reasons the Sooners were so effective in beating the Missouri Tigers this season because he can flat out fly and plays well from sideline to sideline.

3 Jared Mayo - Tennessee 6-2/230

Jared is another athletic linebacker that can be a great difference maker in the NFL if he goes to a team that can keep blockers off of him.

4 Phillip Wheeler - Georgia Tech 6-2/215

Phillip is a scud missle who is great in the box, both in run support and especially getting after the QB.

5 Vince Hall - Virginia Tech 6-0/246

He is tenacious and hungry and a linebacker like him, with speed and power will fit with each and every scheme in the league.

6 Jonathan Goff - Vanderbilt 6-4/235

Jonathan is not the quickest, the fastest or the most explosive but his fundamentals are as sound as anybody’s and he is always in the hole to make the play.

7 Tavares Gooden - Miami 6-1/234

Tavares will react as quickly as anyone but he not always right, fortunatly for him, he has incredible make-up speed and can still make the play.

8 Jasper Brinkley - South Carolina 6-2/262

Jasper was a Butkus Award level linebacker before the sprained knee cost him the rest of the 2007 season. The injury will be a question mark but Jasper can play some football folks, trust.

9 JoLonn Dunbar - Boston College 6-0/226

JoLann is a very instinctive player and is always around the ball but his stiff hips may be a problem in the faster NFL.

10 Ben Moffitt - South Florida 6-2/245

Ben is an athlete, plain and simple and other than stuffing the block in the hole, there is little he won’t be able to do in the NFL. The problem is, stuffing the hole will be his primary job.

11 Jeremy Leman - Illinois 6-3/243

12 Josh Johnson - Marshall 6-2/235

13 Mike Klinkenborg - Iowa 6-2/240

14 Lamar Myles - Louisville 6-0/205

15 Spencer Larson - Arizona 6-1/240

Also…

Corey McKeon - Nebraska 6-1/210
