Has a big arm, good size and frame and a quick delivery. Couple that with solid accuracy and Flacco has a deep ball that will keep defenses on their toes. Is very strong, very tough and isn’t afraid of hanging in the pocket, even if it means a big hit. Despite that, he’s not prone to injury. Has continued to make strides in improving his game each year, and in Mobile at the Senior Bowl, showed he can make those gains even over just one week, which points to a good intelligence which can adapt well to new schemes and input. With the ability to be coached, has plenty of upside still to be tapped.

It seems everyone is in love with this small school prospect with big time potential. The first red flag one must consider when evaluating Flacco is the fact that he couldn’t beat out Tyler Palko when he was at Pittsburgh. He transferred to Delaware and was primarily asked to work out of the shotgun. He isn’t the most athletic QB, and there are questions about him transitioning to a more classic drop back passer. He can slide around in the pocket, but when looking downfield he seems to have trouble reading through his progressions and is more apt to make one or two reads and then check the ball down.
