JDB is an accurate, knowledgeable and smart QB prospect, who has still not reached the limits of his potential. He has great mechanics, a quick release and the ability to move well in the pocket. Has good footwork while getting ready to pass, as well as the ability to throw well on the run. On the short routes, he can hit his targets without them having to break stride. During his USC days, showed in big games that he can come to play with something on the line.

Booty could add some weight to his frame and strengthen his core, which would help him stay healthy.
